I hope you enjoyed the holiday season and had some time to relax. It’s such a busy time for all of us that making time to relax is important not only for our health but also for our well-being..
Now that we are almost half way through January we start to think about exercising and eating healthier after all the goodies that we indulged in over the holidays. It’s always the way we start the New Year at least. There are always reasons to indulge whether it be a dinner party or vacation. But at least we start out with good intentions.
I’ve had a foot issue to deal with that has deterred me for a few months and I’m hoping that it will start to feel good again and that I can get back to working out with the trainer at the gym. It’s very frustrating when you want to work out and feel good but are restricted.
Our new season of classes start on Monday with Emily Richards in to do a class on “Healthy Seasonal Cooking.” The menu that she’s given us sounds so delicious that it I’m sure it will inspire everyone to want to cook and eat healthy.
Our winter season of classes runs from January to the end of March with only one spot remaining in the “Authentic Mexican Cuisine” on Monday March 16th with Jessika Bronsoiler.
All of the other classes in our winter session are sold out. Our new list of classes for April and May will be available around mid-March.
I hope everyone stays warm during these cold winter days and as always we look forward to seeing you in the store.
Warm Regards, Lorraine Gray
